Living in Vibration · Privacy

Clear choices.
No hidden energy.

This policy explains, in plain language, what information this website receives, why it is used, who helps process it, and the choices available to you.

Effective October 19, 2026Last updated October 19, 2026

The short version

  • Contact details are collected only when you choose to send a message.
  • Google Analytics remains off unless you choose “Allow analytics.”
  • This site does not sell or rent personal information and does not use it for targeted advertising.
  • You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted through the site.
01 / Scope

Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to livinginvibration.com, the Living in Vibration platform, and the Soul Sparks website operated by Kim Rostello, PhD (“Living in Vibration,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It applies when you browse the site, choose an analytics preference, or submit the contact form.

It does not govern Amazon, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, Formspree, or other websites and services that have their own privacy practices.

02 / Information

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you send a contact request, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, optional organization or group, inquiry type, optional approximate event date, and message. Please do not include medical records, financial account details, government identifiers, passwords, or other sensitive information.

Information collected with your permission

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may receive usage and device information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from network information, browser and device type, referring page, interaction events, and a cookie-based identifier. We do not send the content of contact-form fields to Google Analytics.

Essential preference storage

Your browser stores one first-party preference named living-in-vibration-analytics-consent-v1 so the site can remember whether you allowed or declined analytics. This preference is required to honor your choice and is not used for advertising.

03 / Purpose

How we use information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • receive, review, and respond to inquiries;
  • discuss speaking, workshops, book clubs, interviews, bulk orders, or reader messages;
  • maintain site security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical problems;
  • understand site use and improve content when analytics permission has been granted;
  • comply with applicable law and protect legal rights.

Contact-form information is not added to a marketing list through this form. If a newsletter or downloadable resource is introduced later, it will use a separate, clearly described consent process before collecting information.

04 / Analytics

Optional analytics and your choices

Google Analytics is optional on this site. The Google Analytics script is not requested until you select “Allow analytics.” Analytics advertising signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the site configuration.

If allowed, Google may set analytics cookies, including _ga, to distinguish visits and prepare aggregated site-use reports. Google describes _ga as lasting up to two years. Google Analytics retention is also controlled through the site’s Analytics account settings.

Change your choice

You can update this device’s analytics preference at any time. Choosing “Essential only” disables further Analytics measurement and removes this site’s accessible _ga cookies. Browser settings can be used to review or clear any remaining stored data.

You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Browser-level privacy tools may provide additional controls.

05 / Service providers

When information is shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by service providers only to operate the website and respond to your request:

  • Formspree receives contact-form submissions and helps deliver them to the site owner. Formspree may process submission content and technical information such as IP address, browser type, access time, and referring address for delivery, security, and fraud prevention. Review the Formspree Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics processes site-usage information only after analytics is allowed. Review Google’s Privacy Policy and its explanation of analytics cookies.
  • Website hosting and network providers may process routine server and security logs needed to deliver and protect the site.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, investigate fraud or abuse, protect safety or rights, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

06 / Stewardship

Retention and security

Contact information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Formspree and hosting providers may retain information under their own account settings, operational needs, and legal requirements. Analytics information is subject to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Internet transmission and electronic storage can never be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to send.

For your protection, do not submit health records, payment-card information, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through the contact form.

07 / Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, and objections

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights concerning personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or object to certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.

To make a request, use the contact form and select “General Inquiry.” Write “Privacy request” at the beginning of your message. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information when required or permitted by law.

This site does not sell personal information or use cross-context behavioral advertising. Because analytics is opt-in, recognized browser signals such as Global Privacy Control are not needed to stop analytics before consent; analytics remains off until you affirmatively allow it.

08 / Children

Children’s privacy

This general-audience site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information may contact us to request its deletion.

09 / Updates and contact

Policy updates and questions

We may update this policy as the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented prominently when appropriate.

For questions or privacy requests, contact Kim Rostello through the contact form. This provides a direct route without publishing a private email address.
